How you can register for this year’s WSOP.

The 2010 World Series of Poker is almost underway. The poker players and enthusiasts who are gearing up for it can already pre-register for the event/s they want to compete in. Pre-registration forms (in pdf file type) of the WSOP events that should be filled out are available for download at the WSOP website. After filling out the form/s, the registrants can submit it along with their deposit to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino two weeks before the start of the event/s they choose to join. Pre-registration will be open two weeks before the start of the event/s and the pre-registrants are required to finalize their registration on site by providing their valid ID’s to the person at the hotel who will accommodate them. The registrant will be given the freedom to choose his table and seat for the event. The valid ID for the non-US citizens is only the passport, and for the US-residents, driver’s license, ID card and military ID are acceptable.

For third party registration concerns e.g. if you have won a place through a poker site, only the registrations submitted by the official sponsors of the WSOP are accepted. Also, if a registration needs to be cancelled, it must be done well in advance of the start of the chosen event/s. The confirmation of the registration will be sent on the email address the registrants provided on their form/s 7 days after they registered.
